WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR OLE MISS HOUSING CONDITIONS
Learning Shouldn’t Come at the Cost of Your Health
Students have the right to expect safe air in their dorms, and parents who pay tuition have the right to trust that the university will keep their children safe. Just Well Law, in partnership with Tynes Law Firm, represents the families who were failed by the University of Mississippi .
As part of our commitment to representing victims of Toxic Housing conditions living in campus dormitories, we are bringing claims against the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) because the administration prioritized its reputation over the safety of its residents. We work on behalf of families whose children suffered devastating health consequences in Crosby, Martin, or Pittman residence halls because the university chose to hide evidence of a poisoned environment.
A Pattern of Institutional Disregard
Our investigation into the University of Mississippi has uncovered a pattern of institutional disregard regarding air quality and moisture intrusion. Reports from students in Crosby, Martin, and Pittman Hall describe visible mold growth, leaking ceilings, and vents that turn black within days of cleaning. Despite these documented hazards, the institution has minimized student concerns, frequently attributing severe physical symptoms to “common campus illnesses.”
Your Symptoms are Evidence
We view your health markers as biological evidence of institutional indifference. If you lived in Crosby, Martin, or Pittman residence halls and experienced these conditions, you may have been afflicted by mold causing cognitive impairment or immune system collapse. We look for these specific indicators:
- Neurological Decline: Severe brain fog, memory loss, or a sudden decline in academic performance.
- Respiratory Distress: Chronic cough, frequent nosebleeds, or upper respiratory infections that only clear when you leave campus.
- Autoimmune Disruption: New diagnoses of immune-related conditions or unexplained systemic health changes.
- Profound Fatigue: A level of exhaustion that routine rest cannot fix, often accompanied by joint or muscle pain.
The Right to Expect Safe Housing
Every student has the right to expect safe air and a habitable dorm. We are holding the University of Mississippi to account for harming its students.
If you or your child suffered severe health consequences while living in an Ole Miss dorm, you are not alone. Join us to expose the truth.
