Chris LaCour is a Partner, seasoned litigator, and twenty-year Army veteran who represents sick people against the companies who made them sick. He began his military career as an artillery officer before becoming a Judge Advocate (military lawyer), deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan, and advised senior military commanders across the globe. Whether leading a platoon in combat or representing the Army in high-stakes litigation, Chris has always been driven by a sense of duty—to his country, his team, and now, to his clients.
Before joining Just Well Law, Chris served as lead counsel in complex litigation for the U.S. Army , from defending Soldiers across Europe, Asia, and Hawaii to managing all personal injury litigation nationwide against the Army while stationed at the Pentagon. As a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Dept. of Justice and senior complex litigator at USAA, a Fortune 100 company, he’s handled cases of national significance with skill and resolve. Now, Chris draws on this unique background to help individuals and families pursue justice with strength and precision.
Chris earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University of Colorado. He holds a Master of Laws in Military Law from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School and is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College. He is licensed in Texas and Colorado and is proud to be part of a firm that shares his belief in the power of justice to restore client’s health and dignity.
