WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR LIPSCOMB HOUSING CONDITIONS
Affirming the Right to Expect Safe Campus Living
When parents invest nearly $60,000 per year for tuition, room, and board, they are investing in the safety and well-being of their children. Parents and students have the right to expect clean air to breathe. Just Well Law, in partnership with Davis & Davis Attorneys at Law, and GriffithLaw, represents the families who were failed when Lipscomb University neglected its dormitories and attempted to downplay the hazards.
As part of our commitment to representing victims of Toxic Housing conditions living in campus dormitories, we are bringing claims against Lipscomb University because the administration prioritized its reputation over the safety of its residents. We work on behalf of families whose daughters suffered devastating health consequences because the university chose to hide evidence of a poisoned environment.
A Pattern of Institutional Disregard
Lipscomb University mandates on-campus living for its students. This policy forced young women into hazardous environments. Instead of building their futures, they found themselves in a daily struggle for physical survival.
Our investigation into the living conditions at Elam, Fanning, and Johnson Halls has exposed a pattern of institutional disregard. We have documented carbon dioxide levels as high as 5,900 ppm; this is nearly six times the recommended limit for indoor air. Chronic moisture intrusion made these residential halls into breeding grounds for toxic species like Stachybotrys and Aspergillus.
Your Symptoms are Evidence
We view your health markers as biological evidence of institutional indifference. If you lived in Elam, Fanning, or Johnson Halls and experienced these conditions, you may have been afflicted by mold causing cognitive impairment or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). We look for these specific indicators:
- Neurological Decline: Severe brain fog, memory loss, or slowed processing speed that interfered with your academic performance.
- Autoimmune Disruption: New diagnoses of Hashimoto’s disease, PCOS, or the sudden loss of a menstrual cycle.
- Respiratory Distress: Chronic cough, sore throats, or wheezing that cleared only when you left the university campus.
- Profound Fatigue: A level of exhaustion that routine rest cannot fix, often accompanied by joint pain.
The Right to Expect Safe Housing
Toxins used in biological warfare have no place in a university dormitory. Lipscomb University intentionally prioritized its institutional reputation over the biological safety of the young women living on its campus. We are holding Lipscomb University accountable for hiding the truth and poisoning its own students.
